The Placentia Area Community Connections Housing Coalition is a registered not for profit group of volunteers of varying backgrounds. The committee works to prevent homelessness and improve access to safe, affordable housing in the Placentia/ Cape Shore area. The committee also advocates for government funding and have been recently successful in obtaining funding to hire a Housing Coalition Support Worker for the area. The Housing Coalition Support Worker is available to assist individuals with any housing support required and help navigate the system for government programs available to ensure safe, affordable housing is an option for everyone. Community Youth Network Placentia is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering youth ages 12-18 through education, employment and career development, community capacity building, support services, and recreational activities. We offer a range of programs and services that address various aspects of young people’s lives, focusing on their social, economic, physical, and mental well-being. Our initiatives provide meaningful experiences and help youth develop valuable skills through civic engagement, information and choice, volunteerism, leadership, and employment.
